David Rewcastle

David Rewcastle is an Equity and Fixed Income Analyst in Darien, Connecticut. He has a background in Economics, Finance, and Middle East Studies. David has worked as a security analyst in many industry sectors, initially with a focus on Energy and Utilities, for almost two decades.

His stock-picking accuracy and returns have been praised numerous times. David was awarded the Wall Street Journal's "Best On The Street" Award for Portfolio Performance in the Oilfield Services Sector. Starmine Forbes Magazine ranked him the best stock picker in the Gas Utility Sector. Starmine Financial Times rated David the #3 analyst stockpicker within the US Gas Utility sector.

David has moderated panels at industry conferences and added the BioTech Sector to his analysis and discussion over the last five years.

David is currently a Senior analyst at E3 Research Associates. This independent third-party research and analytics company, and an instructor of economics at the University of New Haven. He was a professor at the New York University School of Professional Studies where he taught courses in valuation and finance, as well as an investment strategy for the Energy Industry.

David Rewcastle holds a Master's degree in Near East Studies and Business Administration from New York University's Institute of Near East Studies. He also studied finance at the Stern School of Business. David has also been a student at Damascus University as well as the American University of Cairo. The University of Calgary's Strategic Studies Department awarded him a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Petroleum Economics and Political Science of the Middle East.
